Is global warming real ?

last years snow run off (global warming or normal cycle)
Global warming seems to be on everybody’s mind. Every time I turn on the news there is a story about it, or something related to it. We are constantly told that sea levels are rising and that the ice caps are melting. That we need to stop polluting, reduce the CO2 levels in the atmosphere and somehow restore the ozone.
But what bugs me most is that no one is asking the right questions and no one is paying attention to what is going on around them. When I ask an environmentalist these questions, they become abusive,  threatening, or just don’t want to talk to me. I talk to other people, and they try to tell me there is no global warming and it’s just something made up.
So here are a list of questions that nobody seems to have an answer for, but if any of you out there do have an answer, please feel free to comment.

  • ·         If CO2 causes global warming and trees soak up CO2, why isn’t anyone saying we should plant more trees to stop global warming?
  • ·         If the ice caps are melting on earth because of global warming and the ice caps on Mars are melting who’s causing global warming on Mars?
  • ·         Where is it written that God said he set the thermostat at the perfect temperature and it will never change?
  • ·         They say that global warming will cause all the low-lying cities to flood.  If that is the case why hasn’t the country Holland (which is below sea level) already flooded long ago?
  • ·         If you fill a glass full of ice and then add water, when the ice melts shouldn’t it cause the water overflow the glass?
  • ·         When you fill a glass with water and continue to fill the glass it will overflow, but when you add water to a spinning ball in space(such as Earth), where does the water gravitate to? Shouldn’t the centrifugal force of the ball force the water to accumulate around the equator? And if you add a large body of water to the equator of the earth what does that do to the rotation of the earth?
  • ·         Why do environmental scientists constantly tell us that the oceans will overflow like a bowl of water when the earth is shaped like a sphere?
  • ·         If CO2 is actually the problem? Wouldn’t it make sense to eliminate those things that are actually producing the CO2 and increase the number of things that consume and eliminate CO2 such as plants?
  • ·         If you can genetically design a plant to produce more of something, why can’t you design a plant or tree that consumes large quantities of CO2?
  • ·         CFCs are supposed to be responsible for the hole in the ozone, but there has been a ban on CFCs for many years. Shouldn’t that have had some effect over the years on the whole in the ozone and why is nobody talking about CFCs anymore if it is still a problem?
  •     If global warming is going to cause an ice age and the earth has gone through many ice ages, who caused all the other ice ages and who or what was polluting the earth back then?

There are a lot more questions I could ask, but my biggest question is why are you not asking more questions or did you forget all the basic science you learned in school?

Lahontan Reservoir, safe or unsafe?

Lahontan Reservoir

safe or unsafe?

When reading this article, please keep in mind these are questions? They are questions that any concerned parent or person would have if they were living under similar conditions. And as far as I know there is not a law against asking questions. The article is not intended to imply anything about the Churchill County, Fallon, Nevada area. Although their should probably be a better explanation given to the public about heavy metal contamination, other than scientific reports that only someone with a degree can read or understand.

Today I thought I would ask a few questions about a local matter. For many years now we have known that due to mercury contamination of the Carson River in Nevada, that the fish in
Lahontan Reservoir are not safe to eat, correct? In my research concerning the contamination of mercury, I found the government information to be mainly concerned about the consumption of the fish from the reservoir. I did learn that the contamination is throughout the water system and that the Indian Lakes area has the higher concentrations of mercury. I found little if any information as to how this contamination affects agricultural crops, livestock, wildlife or people. I also found little information regarding other heavy metals and contaminants that would've resulted from the same mining operation that caused the mercury contamination.
Many are using this irrigation water from the reservoir to water their crops and in some cases water their livestock, is that safe? If the fish are contaminated how is it that the cows drinking this water are not contaminated or the milk they produce? If hay fields are irrigated with water from the reservoir how is it that these agricultural fields are not contaminated as well?  Lahontan Reservoir is also used as a recreational area in which people use the reservoir for swimming boating and fishing.(With the understanding that the majority of the fish, are catch and release and not consumed.) EPA does not consider mercury to be a carcinogen but it is a well-known toxin that causes nerve damage and with enough exposure mercury can kill you. As for the wildlife, some of the game birds and other animals that feed on the fish are showing high levels of mercury, but for some reason there there dosn't seem to be a limit on the number of birds you eat like there is a limit on the fish, why is that?
As a kid growing up in Fallon, Nevada I spent many a summer day swimming either in the canals or the lakes and reservoirs. To this day I still wonder how many of my health issues are the result of being exposed to this toxic substance. What is even more interesting is that fact that if you have your well water tested, Mercury, lead and other toxic heavy metals are not tested for unless you specifically request to have those test done, why is that? You would think that if you were living in an area that was prone to heavy metal contamination, that the government would want to know what the current levels are? Although, I have been told by some lawyers that the reason for this is deniability. In other words our local government may try and play dumb should a serious problem arise. They will simply say," I didn't know" and thus not be liable for anything.
The Fallon area has been my home most of my life. It would be hard for me to think of living elsewhere, but don't you think we deserve the right to know what were dealing with? If we are being exposed to a toxic substance, do we not at the very least deserve the right to know what is killing us? And with all that said could we at least get someone to explain it to us in a simple non-scientific, non-legalese language so we don't have to hire an interpreter? After all how many of you actually trust our government to look out for our best interests?

If planting an acre of hemp could save 1000 trees, why would you outlaw it?

If planting an acre of hemp could save 1000 trees, why would you outlaw it?

Keep in mind that hemp is not the same as cannabis, same family different plant. Hemp has thousands of uses and is used to make everything from paper, food, clothing and even plastics. Has low to no THC if any, so it can't be used as a drug. Paper pulp made from hemp can be recycled 10 times more than wood pulp and can out produce cotton. Finished products can be sold here in the US, which includes hemp seeds but it can't be grown here. Hemp seed can be made into milk, flour, protein powder etc. the amount of THC is negligible. The US is so fanatical about saving the environment, but is so adamant about not letting any type of hemp be grown in the United States, why? Does that make the US government hypocritical, or does it just mean there on the take from major corporations? What US companies have been pushing to keep hemp in the same category as cannabis, when they clearly know that these are two different plants? Our first flags and our Constitution and Declaration of Independence were written on paper made not from wood pulp, but from hemp. Did our founding fathers know something we don't, or were they just less corrupt?

Are we being poisoned by our own government?

Are we being poisoned by our own government? If jet fuel is so corrosive what is the difference between a normal vapor trail and chem-trail? Why do you not see chem-trail's at night? Are the long-term effects as bad as nuclear fallout? Why is Monsanto's developing plants that are resistant to soils that are contaminated with aluminum? If the government says they have never done such a thing, what about agent orange and other chemicals that were sprayed during the Vietnam War? Why does the government refused to talk about geo-engineering?
