Is the election over?

Is the election over?

I was so looking forward to the election being over but to my surprise when I turned on the television it seemed as if the election campaigns were still going on. In the past couple weeks, I could not help but notice that the media was still going on about how the Democrats lost and how terrible the new president and his administration was. Now not really being in favor of one or the other it seems to raise certain questions that did not make sense.
  • The news media is supposed to be impartial and unbiased but how can you be reporting the real news if you openly support or oppose a candidate?
  • Is not the news media supposed to inform the public factually about events that take place and report those events as truthfully as possible without bias?
  • Can a news media be trusted if it is being openly biased about one candidate or another and if they are bias about their politics what other topics are they being bias about? Can we trust what they have to say when it comes to health, global warming, local news, world news etc.?
  • Is Pres. elect Trump right when he says we should not trust the media?
  • If there is division within the country is it because of the politics or is it because of the media?
  • Who has more pool with the people of America, the media or the politicians?
  • Is the slogan "drain the swamp" indicative of our times and the real under line problem with America and the world?

Two Fallon, Nevada McDonald's were nearly forced to shut down after a new owner had to terminate 15 to 20 employees.

Why is citizenship so important?

Recently I was made aware that two local McDonald's were sold and purchased by a gentlemen out of Reno Nevada who already owned several McDonald's. Upon completion of the transaction the two McDonald's located in Fallon Nevada were nearly shut down when the new owner was forced to immediately let go 15 to 20 employees. The reason for the terminations was quite simple, they could not provide proof of citizenship or a green card.

So the questions are as as follows.

  1. Why hasn't anything been in the local news? Did I just simply miss it or was it hidden someplace in the back page?
  2. How could two McDonald's employ that many illegals without anyone finding out?
  3. What country these people were from does not matter and for all I know they came from Canada, but how much of an impact would that many employees have on our small local economy and is this the only business getting away with such practices?
  4. If they provided Social Security numbers to the previous owner, how many legal citizens got dinged on their tax return because of these illegals?
  5. These 15 to 20 people that are illegally in the country what happens to them? Did they get arrested or deported or did they just simply go find a new job?
  6. How many of them went on to collect unemployment or other social services or is that even possible?
  7. What was the incentive to the previous owner to hire that many illegals? Did he pay them less or did he simply turn a blind eye knowing that these employees would be less likely to file any kind of complaints against him for any employment violation?
  8. How can a law enforcement officer, enforce the law if he is forbidden to ask for proof of citizenship?
  9. What is the point in having a law if it is not going to be enforced?
  10. If the government is refusing to enforce a law, what is the benefit to the government?
You really can't point fingers at the illegals without pointing another finger at the employer. There has to be an incentive to both parties.
In interviewing several people I was told there would be little to no consequence. The employer would deny having known that his employees were illegally in the country and the illegals will simply disappear once again into the background of our society. With no penalties being enforced there was nothing to discourage either party from breaking the law.

It should be noted that in reporting this story, I was not looking for facts or details. This is not the first time such things have occurred in this country. The purpose of reporting the story was to simply raise questions that our society seems to be avoiding or complacent about. In order for a society to function properly there has to be law and order. Any law that is not enforced calls into question all the laws. After all the foundation of any good society is it's laws and justice system, without it we have nothing but chaos and some people thinking they are the exception to the law. And if one law is not enforced, how do you or I know any other law will be enforced equally and without prejudice?

What is the one thing that would end war, crime, injustice and more, but little or no research is being done?

EGO

What is the one thing that is responsible for every war, for every wrongful death or injury, for every racist remark, and the suffering of all humanity, for all of history
EGO
What negative emotion do we not only find in humans, but also primitive remanence of in animal's?
Our latest revelations of ego in humans is only the tip of the iceberg. My own personal research shows that the EGO's also exist in animals and animal social networks. It is a remnant of a primitive survival program in which humans have the mental capacity to overcome, either through meditation or just plain self-discipline.
When people talk about The Shift, they are not necessarily talking about a physical event but rather an awakening to a realization that our entire history of suffering is the result of EGO. I'm not talking about living like Spock from Vulcan, but rather awakening enough to control or subdue the EGO.
It puzzles me that we would spend millions of dollars in research to stop addictions, and racism, or reduce crime rates but do no research into the root cause that affects everyone on the planet. And it frustrates me to no end to realize that our planet's very survival depends on us finding a way to overcome this ancient adversary. We are on the brink of live or die only because our collective ego has convinced us that weapons of mass destruction are necessary for our survival. Even that very statement is an oxymoron, but our ego manges to blind us to the real reality of what really is reality.
I was once asked "if I had one wish what would it be for?" "My answer of course was world peace." I have never heard anyone answer that question and in the same breath give a solution, so I will be the first.

"END THE EGO"

If you could end suffering for everyone on the planet for all time, what would it be worth?

How many things do you think could be ended or eliminated by controlling or eliminating the ego?

  • Lawyers
  • militaries
  • law enforcement
  • governments
  • government agencies
  • racism
  • violence
  • addictions [i.e. alcoholism, drug addiction, ect]
  • discrimination

AR silver hammer band, Maxwell set free, all charges dropped.

Acme silver hammer company charged with murder.

In headline news today Acme silver hammer company was brought up on charges of mass murder. There new line
of AR silver hammers has been banned and found to be the cause of all murders. Proponents of the new ban on hammers argued that there was no legitimate use for the AR silver hammers other than killing people. People do not need these kinds of hammers.
In related news a man by the name of Maxwell was released from prison today and all murder charges dropped after it was decided that the AR silver hammer was responsible for the murders and not Maxwell. Strangely enough hours after being released, Maxwell continued his murder spree with a large knife. Witnesses said, "The knife seemed to be wielding it self." Congress is now being pressured to considering banning knives in addition to hammers. A spokesperson for the group pushing for the band on knives was heard to say,  " Maxwell is not the problem, knives are!"

The question should be obvious, but for those of you who are still blind to wag the dog.

If a person shoots and kills another person, what is responsible for the other person's death. The person who pulled the trigger or the weapon used?   If guns are banned, do these bad people simply disappear?   If bad people who are intent on harming others do not have access to guns does that mean they won't commit the crime or does it mean they will find another method?

In other countries where guns are banned does murder or mass shootings never occur?

Places that practice meditation and other spiritual practices have crime rates far below normal. Not only for those who are practicing the meditation but also for the community. In addition those communities that practice a spiritual belief that does not promote violence as a solution to problems are rated the lowest in violent crimes. Is it possible that by treating the real problem (people) a solution that is agreeable to all is possible? Is it possible that treating mental health issues would result in fewer violent crimes rather than banning guns?

Is it possible that the real problem is EGO? Every single wrongful act, every war, every genocide, every murder, that has been carried out by another person or persons in all of history is the result of EGO?

What do you think should be the focus of our efforts to end violence in the world?

Awaken world, the shift is here, open your minds.

What is the one thing that could reverse Global warming?

What is the permanent solution to global warming?

Boys and girls, let's take a little refresher course from grade school. What do plants breathe in and what do plants exhale? That's right plants breathe in CO2, which is causing global warming and they exhale or produce oxygen. So why hasn't the government or for that matter any government begun a program to re-forest the planet? A grove of bamboo or hemp can clean more CO2 out of the air, more efficiently than any man-made machine, and I am sure that with a little bit of research we could find other plants that do as much or more. A houseplant referred to as the spider plant, reportedly even has the ability to clean toxins out of the air. Many water plants grow even faster, yet mysteriously our government and our scientists are ignoring the one thing that has potential to solve our problem permanently, why? If our situation is as dire as they would have us believe then I would think they would be trying anything and everything that would be logically feasible, correct? Or is this another wag the dog and our government leaders have a whole different game plan in mind but were not included?

Is a college degree worth it?

In 2008, I was told that technological advances were doubling every 18 months, and that it took institutions of education at least 10 years or more to catch up with those technological advances.
I myself started college in 1977 in pursuit of a degree in computer science. Since that time I have had to change my degree at least three times due to technological advances. I have had to continue to go to school periodically just to keep up with those advances in technology, only to find that the colleges themselves are unable to keep up.
In one particular year, I took a class in Adobe CS5. The computer lab at the college only had CS4 and as the class was being taught CS6 came out. The college could only afford to update its computers every three years. If I wanted to learn the current version of Adobe CS6 I would have to learn it myself online without accreditation.
My daughter's high school graduation.
At this point in time technology is now doubling every three months, computer programs are only available in the cloud because they are being constantly updated and revised, and many of the college programs are simply being dropped because the colleges cannot afford to keep up. If you are graduating this year from college with a degree in technology or science, there's a good chance that the degree you just attained is outdated and you now owe several thousand dollars for an education that is obsolete. Although this may not apply to all fields of study it does beg the following questions.

  • With technology moving faster than ever before and at some point technology moving so fast that it will be impossible for anyone to attain a degree, why haven't colleges come up with a new system of education and certification?
  • Donald Trump is being questioned about his college, but nobody is questioning the various universities across the country that are issuing degrees and diplomas in fields of study that are not current with technology, why?
  • If you go to school for 12 years but only get a sixth-grade education should you get your money back ?
  • If the college does not teach you what you need to know to enter the field of study that you've chosen, should you be allowed to sue that college?
  • Is it realistic to expect a student to repay his student loan if the education he received does not help him attain a higher paying job?
  • With universities unable to keep pace with technology, how long before industrialized nations are unable to attain the skilled workers they need?

Why would aliens come here to this planet?

Why would aliens come here to this planet?

Why would aliens come to a planet that is so full of violence, deception, corruption, and indifference? The outward appearance of this planet would appear to be an insane asylum where you could not trust anyone or anything. If you came here and contacted any government could you make any kind of an agreement that you could trust? Could you trust any government or people to keep their word about any agreement? Could you come to this planet and contact any government without being dissected and all your technology being stolen? Is it possible that the only reason that any alien civilization would come here, is to make sure that our insanity does not spread beyond our own planet? If an alien civilization came here to take over our planet, would it not be just a simple matter of introducing a virus that we could not fight? Can you trust what the media and the movies present aliens as being? If aliens were hostile and had the ability to travel light years to other planets in other solar systems, wouldn't they have similar technology with their weapons? The US possesses neutron bombs that are capable of eradicating all life without doing damage to structures or infrastructure. Do you think aliens wouldn't have this type of technology as well? And if you were going to spend the time and money to visit another planet why would you go there with the intent of destroying it before you had a chance to study it?

Evolution?

Does evolution come from staying the same?

If life does not evolve, how would life improve? If dogs, cats, cows, horses and other animals did not evolve, how is there more than one breed? If life does not evolve and adapt does that not mean there is a set number of species and once those species become extinct there will never be anything to replace the species that become extinct and therefore would we not sooner or later run out of animals and plants? If you're an omnipotent being (God) creating worlds, wouldn't you want them to be self-sustaining so you didn't have to constantly re-create life? If new life were to stop being created, wouldn't you think there was something wrong with the creator? If evolution was not taking place and every creature were the result of surviving the great flood on an arc, and there are billions of different animals and lifeforms, how big would the ark have to have been?

If the creator does not believe in evolution, what does he have against it, or if the creator created evolution what do humans have against evolution?

If we are to survive it will not be because we continue to do the same things we have always done, but because we broke the rules and at the very least evolved our thinking. P.S. evolution does not disprove God, it reaffirms the creator.

One pill or two pills?

One pill, two pill, three pills, or the bottle?

I had a headache and the aspirin bottle gave instructions of 1 to 2 pills for adults. I looked at a package of pills for my dog and it said based on weight give this dosage. Now both people above are adults but one is nearly 6'8" and the other is only 5'6". So is one person going to be under medicated and the other over medicated? This is a prescribed dosage set by the FDA, so can you trust what the FDA says? What else did they get wrong? If the dosage is so general, do we really need the pills in the first place? Are our pets getting better medication than we are? Is everything an illusion?

Are placebos the miracle drug we've been looking for?

If placebos work as well as they say, why do we need drugs?

The key to a placebo is how it is presented and how believable the presentation is (I. E. How good are the actors administering the placebo? In other words if the mind believes that it is being given a pill to kill pain then that is what happens. Placebos work 60% of the time or better, but even these results can be questioned. The doctors and scientists responsible for the testing of placebos are some of same doctors that test pharmaceutical drugs. So are test results going to lean towards a drug that doesn't make them any money or towards pharmaceutical drugs that makes them billions?
I have met people that have never used an over-the-counter painkiller in their life and will tell you they've never needed it, why is that? These people are generally from third world economies where over-the-counter medications are not necessarily readily available. Is the food they eat, the reason they do not need painkillers or is it a cultural thing that is taught to them?
Doctors give placebos on a regular basis to patients asking for illegal painkillers they don't need, and strangely enough you never hear of a patient suing a doctor for being given a sugar pill.
Studies have also shown that placebos given in place of antidepressants can work just as well as pharmaceutical drugs, but what you won't hear is that the placebos had no ill side effects, why is that? At the same time if the placebo is presented to the patient with a list of possible side effects, strangely enough those side effects will appear. Does that mean that we should stop listing side bad effects. I'm sure that pharmaceuticals would love to be able to produce pills they do not have to be accountable for.
It would seem that the mind is capable of manufacturing any drug or chemical that it thinks it needs. In fact if you take pain pills on a regular basis for headaches and then stopped taking the pills the mind will literally create a headache (rebound headaches ) in order to get its fix of painkiller.

So if placebos work 60% of the time, could we cure 60% of the world with a placebo pill? Would drug dealers be more selling a placebo and get less complaints about their illegal drugs? If a person is given a placebo and told that it is an illegal drug would it show up in a drug test?

Here is the best question of all, if a patient is given a placebo pill and told that it is poison would they die from it?

What is the one question that is never asked?

What is the one question that is never asked?

What are we?

Why do we not ask what we are, but instead ask what is our purpose? How can you answer the question what is our purpose, without knowing what you are first? It's like asking what's the purpose of a wigglewatt? Can you tell me what the purpose of a Wigglewatt is without knowing what it is first? Science has not defined what we are and what's more ever since quantum physics the question what is real and what is not can't even be answered. Are we asking the right questions in the right order? Can we really define what a galaxy is, much less what it's for?

Zika virus, what is it really doing?

Zika virus, what is it really doing?

If the Zika virus is causing defects in human infants, what is it doing to the wildlife and domestic livestock? Is it possible that a similar virus caused not a defect, but an evolutionary mutation? Could a similar virus have caused the extinction of species? Is it possible that these viruses have been around for millions of years?

Why were the holidays invented?

Why were the holidays invented?

Why do we need to be reminded that we need to let our loved ones know that we love them? Why do we limit I love you too one day a year? Shouldn't we be showing our love for one another all the time? And all those other holidays that only happen once a year, shouldn't they also be celebrated year-round.Why are all the holidays depended on how much money we spend? Thanksgiving is forgiving gratitude, but why should we be grateful only at Thanksgiving? Shouldn't generosity and peace on earth be celebrated not just in December? We have so many holidays now that you cannot create a new one without getting rid of an old one, why?

chemical sprays, safe or not safe?

Why is it safe to spray chemicals on our food, in homes, and repellant on ourselves and our pets, but not safe to eat? If it kills the bugs what stops it from killing us in the same way? If you find bugs in your food does that mean your food is safe to eat or that the bugs are no_longer affected by the chemicals in your food?

Question the Question?

If I am watching the news and they say that the economy took a dump, why would I need a news caster to explain to me what that meant ? And if it is a question, why would I need an explanation of the question? When the newscaster says "and this is what this means"why would I need an interpretation of what he just said? Do I need an interpretation of the interpretation and a definition of what is said? Why would the news make it so confusing that you need your psychologist to make an interpretation? Is it news if you cannot understand what is being said or is it something else?

Ask the first question, before asking any others.

What are we?

Before you can ask what is your purpose, you must ask," what are we?"
Would you use a hammer to cut a loaf of bread?
Is that because you know that this is a hammer?
No one in all of human history has ever scientifically proven definitively what we are, much less whether we are real physical forms, or a holographic image inside a computer. We don't even know why we sleep much less what we are.
So how can anyone say that our purpose is to serve a God much less which one, or that we need to find ourselves or we need to be part of society, or we need to lose weight, or we need to be wealthy, or we need to be of service to society, or any of those other statements that we so often hear?

How can we answer any question about our purpose in life without answering the first question,
"What are we?"

Madman, armed v.s. unarmed ?

The great debate about gun control has raised an obvious question. Why do gunmen choose the locations they do? Is gun-control really the issue? Why are guns the weapon of choice? So I pose the following question to you and ask that you answer the question in the survey to the right.
Note: I do not specify that the madman is using a gun nor do I specify that the people in room (A) may have a concealed gun. In fact it could be any weapon of choice.
